While the celebrations for The World Series Champions continued in Chicago, James Farris and Eloy Jimenez were representing the Cubs in the Arizona League’s Fall Stars game. While the Cubs were busy beating the Dodgers in the NLCS and earning the National League Pennant, the rest of the system remained hard at work. The Dominican Winter League opened with Stephen Fife pitching a gem. Bryant Flete remained hot for Zulia in the Venezuela, and Christian Villanueva put on quite a show in Mexico. The weekend action was sparse in Fall Ball, as both Eloy Jimenez and Christian Villanueva went deep, and James Farris remained perfect.
