The Cubs announced Wednesday the team acquired LHP Rex Brothers from the Colorado Rockies for minor league lefty Wander Cabrera. Baseball America posted its annual review of the players the Cubs signed on the International amateur market this past year. According to Baseball America, the Cubs added 47 players to the organization and were aggressive signing players in the $100-250,000 range. According to reports from Baseball America’s Ben Badler, the Cubs have signed Dominican Dominican left hander Wander Cabrera, Dominican shortstop Yeiler Peguero and Dominican third baseman Tony Rijo.
