According to a report from Robert Feder, WGN Radio and the Cubs will announce on Friday they have hired Ron Coomer to replace Keith Moreland in the Cubs' radio booth. Ron Coomer agreed to a two-year contract to be the Cubs’ color analyst alongside the great Pat Hughes. Ron Coomer has been working pre and post-game shows for the Minnesota Twins on Fox Sports North.
