Another one of baseball's big ticket players came off the board late Monday night. The Texas Rangers won the Yu Darvish sweepstakes by bidding a record $51.7 million for the rights to negotiate a contract with the right-hander. Cubs Offer Arbitration to Aramis Ramirez and Carlos Pena

According to multiple reports, the Cubs have offered salary arbitration to Aramis Ramirez and Carlos Pena. Players have until December 7 to accept or decline salary arbitration. The Cubs did not offer salary arbitration to Kerry Wood, Reed Johnson, Ramon Ortiz, Rodrigo Lopez or John Grabow.
