From all indications the Cubs are looking for help in the bullpen, and not for their offense. During Sports Central on Wednesday night, Dave Kaplan mentioned his sources indicated the Cubs would really like to add George Sherrill but that the Orioles' closer would cost the Cubs too much in terms of prospects. Less than a week after inking B.J. Ryan to a minor league deal, the Cubs were linked to Joe Beimel, George Sherrill and John Grabow on Tuesday.
