The Cubs made history Tuesday in San Diego when all four infielders started for the National League. Ben Zobrist batted leadoff. Kris Bryant hit a home run off Chris Sale. Addison Russell, the Cubs’ 22-year old All-Star shortstop, had a big day at the plate batting fifth in Joe Maddon’s lineup. Russell went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI. What a weekend for Joe Maddon’s team. The Cubs swept all three games from the Pirates.
