Cubs announce signing RHP Brandon Morrow to two-year contract with a club/vesting option for a third season The Cubs made it official Tuesday night and announced signing right-handed reliever Brandon Morrow to a two-year contract that includes a club/vesting option for a third season (2020). Cubs agree to terms on a two-year deal that includes a third year option with RHP Brandon Morrow According to a report from Jeff Passan, the Cubs are in agreement with right-handed reliever Brandon Morrow on a two-year contract. Passan said the deal includes an option for a third year. Jon Heyman indicated Morrow will receive $10 or $11 million annually.
