Recapping Cubs International Free Agent Signings
Baseball America has been providing reviews on the International prospects each team signed last year, what was spent and where each team ranked with the rest of baseball. According to Baseball America, the Cubs signed 34 players in 2015, not during the 2015-16 signing period, but calendar year. Cubs Expected to be Very Active During 2015-16 International Signing Period
It’s July 2, the start of the 2015-16 International signing period and the Cubs are expected to be very active on the International free agent market. The Cubs were limited to signing players for $250,000 or less during the 2014-15 International signing period that ended on June 15.
