Cubs re-sign RHP Andury Acevedo to a Minor League Contract The Cubs re-signed one of the young arms that was in the system last season. RHP Andury Acevedo has returned to the Cubs on a minor league contract two days after he was outrighted off the 40-man roster to Triple-A Iowa and elected free agency. Cubs select contract of RHP Jose Rosario from Triple-A Iowa and add to 40-Man Roster The Cubs made an addition to the 40-man roster among several other moves on Monday. The Cubs selected the contract of Jose Rosario from Triple-A Iowa and added the 26-year old right-hander to the reserve roster. Jose Rosario started last season with High-A Myrtle Beach.
