December 14, 2010 12:01 am By Neil Leave a Comment

The Cubs signed Kosuke Fukudome (2007), traded Milton Bradley and acquired Carlos Silva (2009), signed Joey Gathright (2008), traded Jason Marquis (2008), traded Mark DeRosa (2008), signed Aaron Miles (2008) and signed Marlon Byrd (2009). Will Jim Hendry end 2010 with a few … [Read more...]

More Like Hibernation Season than the Hot Stove Season for the Cubs

December 17, 2009 12:12 am By Neil Leave a Comment

Be very, very quiet ... Jim Hendry and the Cubs are sleeping. While most of baseball is attempting to make their clubs better for 2010, the Cubs, so far, have not addressed their biggest needs or their number one priority this winter ... dealing Milton Bradley. It is only December 17 but at some point, Jim Hendry must begin scratching items off his to do list. Granted the Cubs re-signed John Grabow and hired Rudy Jaramillo but unless taking Mike Parisi in the Rule 5 Draft was one of the Cubs' … [Read more...]
