The Cubs are underdogs in the series against the high-powered, very talented Washington Nationals team that is managed by Dusty Baker. Joe Maddon’s team will have to play mistake free ball and take advantage of all scoring opportunities to beat the Nationals and advance to the NLCS for the third year in a row.
First thing is first … and it’s time for the Cubs to play good, fundamental baseball and beat the Nats.
