Ryne Sandberg Throws Out First Pitch for Game 5 of The World Series

Cubs announce Ryne Sandberg to throw out ceremonial first pitch, Eddie Vedder to sing the Stretch, Wayne Messmer to sing the National anthem

Sandberg011416The Cubs announced Sunday morning Ryne Sandberg will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Game 5 of The World Series. Sandberg’s former teammate and fellow Hall of Famer, Andre Dawson will deliver the game ball.

Sandberg joins Billy Williams (Game 3), Greg Maddux and Ferguson Jenkins (Game 4) as the four Cubs’ Hall of Famers to throw out the first pitch prior to World Series games at Wrigley Field.

Eddie Vedder will lead the crowd in the singing of ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ for the 7th inning Stretch.

And the great Wayne Messmer will sign God Bless America and the National anthem prior to Game 5 of The World Series.
