MLB announced start times for games six and seven of National League Championship Series
The Cubs beat the Dodgers 10-2 in Game 4 of the NLCS on Wednesday night and forced at least a sixth game with the series tied at 2-2. Major League Baseball announced during Game 4 the start times for games six and seven of the National League Championship Series.
Game 6 is Saturday night at Wrigley Field and will be in primetime. The Cubs and Dodgers will start at 7:08pm CDT under the lights Saturday and it appears the pitching matchup will be Kyle Hendricks versus Clayton Kershaw.
If Game 7 is necessary it will be Sunday night at Wrigley with a first pitch scheduled for 7:08pm CDT. FS1 has the exclusive broadcast rights for the National League Championship Series.
- Game 5 – Thursday, Oct. 20 (7:08pm CDT) at Dodger Stadium – LHP Jon Lester vs. RHP Kenta Maeda
- Game 6 – Saturday, Oct. 22 (7:08pm CDT) at Wrigley Field – RHP Kyle Hendricks vs. LHP Clayton Kershaw
- Game 7 – Sunday, Oct. 23 (7:08pm CDT) at Wrigley Field – RHP Jake Arrieta vs. LHP Rich Hill
The Cubs and Dodgers have not announced possible starters for a Game 7.
The Cleveland Indians are waiting for the winner of the Cubs-Dodgers series. The Indians beat the Blue Jays in Game 5 of the ALCS and won the American League Pennant.
The World Series begins Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Cleveland with the Indians hosting either the Cubs or Dodgers.
