The weekend action was sparse in Fall Ball, as both Eloy Jimenez and Christian Villanueva went deep, and James Farris remained perfect.

Mesa evened their record on Friday as they destroyed Surprise 10-4. Victor Caratini drove in a run in a four-run second inning as he went 1-for-4. Ian Happ was 2-for-4 with a double while Eloy Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
It was a rough afternoon for the Solar Sox on Saturday was they were hammered by Peoria 12-2. Ryan McNeil came on in the eighth inning and served up a three-run homer. McNeil had a strikeout in his inning of work. James Farris worked around a walk for a scoreless ninth inning. Victor Caratini played first base and was 0-for-2 with two walks and a run scored.
Mexican Pacific League
Yaquis de Obregon
Evening their record on Saturday, Obregon was able to thwart the hitting of Jalisco in a 2-0 victory. Christian Villanueva remains the team’s DH and belted a solo home run in the eighth inning. Villanueva was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Venezuelan Winter League
Aguilas de Zulia
Saturday saw Zulia continue their dominance at they took care of Lara 9-3. Bryant Flete played second base and was 1-for-4 with an RBI.
Cardenales de Lara
Lara continued their struggles on Saturday as they ran into a buzz saw named Zulia and lost 9-3. Yapson Gomez relieved started John Kuchno in the fifth and allowed an earned run and had a strikeout in 0.2 innings.
Caribes de Anzoategui
On Saturday, Anzoategui used a nine-run seventh inning to blow by Caracas 15-6. Jose Godoy went 1-for-5 with an RBI in the win.
Tigres de Aragua
After the second inning on Friday, it was all Aragua as they took it to Caracas 7-3. Gioskar Amaya moved over to third base and was 2-for-4. Armando Rivero came on in the eighth inning and gave up two hits while holding Caracas scoreless.
The Tigers were in over their heads on Sunday, as a six-run first doomed them to a 7-1 loss to Magallanes. Gioskar Amaya lined up again at third base ad was 1-for-4.
