Kris Bryant Home Runs are Just Fun to Watch

August 27, 2016 11:35 am By Neil Leave a Comment

Kris Bryant launches two home runs, first opposite field homer of season is the game-winner

Bryant082716Kris Bryant put on another show at the plate Friday and delivered two of the three big hits in the come-from-behind win over the Dodgers. Bryant has 35 home runs before Sept. 1.

After 124 games, Bryant is batting .303/.395/.587 with 30 doubles, a triple and 35 home runs for a .982 OPS. Bryant has scored 107 runs and has 89 RBI.

For those that missed the two homers Friday night or that would just like to watch them again, sit back and have fun watching Kris Bryant hit two more majestic home runs.

As Buster Olney pointed out, Bryant is on pace for 45 home runs, 38 doubles, 186 hits, 77 walks, 136 runs scored and 114 RBI.

And as Jayson Stark noted that would put Bryant in the company of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Todd Helton, Jeff Bagwell, Hack Wilson and Larry Walker as the only players since 1900 that have put up the numbers Bryant is on pace for this season.
