The Cubs begin the 10-game homestand Tuesday (7:05pm CDT) with the first of two against the Angels. John Lackey is on the hill facing former teammate veteran right-hander Jered Weaver.
Joe Maddon is going with a balanced lineup tonight, four right-handers, two left-handers and a pair of switch hitters.
Willson Contreras is catching Lackey and batting eighth. Jorge Soler is starting his fourth straight game since coming off the DL and is in left field. Maddon has Jason Heyward back in right field and a starting infield of Anthony Rizzo, Ben Zobrist, Addison Russell and Kris Bryant.

Maddon was expected to run out a balanced lineup against Jered Weaver. Lefties and righties have put up big numbers against Weaver this season.
