According to Mark Gonzales, the Cubs will call-up LHP Rob Zastryzny and RHP Felix Pena from Triple-A Iowa. The team has not made an official announcement or the corresponding roster moves.
Carrie Muskat reported RHP John Lackey and RHP Hector Rondon are likely headed to the disabled list. According to Carrie Muskat, neither Lackey nor Rondon suffered setbacks. With the 13-game lead in the NL Central Division, the Cubs are being cautious with both pitchers.
The Cubs will have to make two changes to the 25-man roster to clear spots for Zastryzny and Pena. And one spot will have to be opened on the 40-man roster, which currently stands at 39 players.
Rob Zastryzny, 24, started the season with Double-A Tennessee. After posting a 3-2 record in nine starts with a 4.28 ERA and 1.28 WHIP, the Cubs promoted Zastryzny to Triple-A Iowa on May 24.

Rob Zastryzny will be the first pitcher drafted and developed by Theo Epstein’s front office to pitch in the big leagues.
