Anthony Rizzo had a rather big day at the plate in the 6-2 victory over the Mets. Rizzo launched not one but two home runs off Bartolo Colon and drove in half of the Cubs’ runs.
Wednesday was Rizzo’s second multi-home run game of the season and the 11th of his career. Rizzo teed off on Bartolo Colon in consecutive at-bats. Rizzo’s first shot, a solo homer in the third inning traveled an estimated 451 feet with an exit velocity of 106.9 mph.
