Willson Contreras just keeps on hitting and getting on base. Contreras extended his hitting streak to 20 games in Iowa’s 6-5 win in Colorado Springs on Wednesday afternoon.
Contreras finished the game 1-for-5 with a RBI. Contreras singled in John Andreoli in the first inning to extend the streak. Unlike some hitting streaks where a player will get one hit, Contreras is 16-for-37 in his last 10 games with five walks and six strikeouts.
