The Cubs wrap up the three-game series in Philadelphia with an early scheduled first pitch in the rubber game. Weather permitting, the two teams will get underway at 12:05pm CDT. John Lackey faces right-hander Vince Velasquez and Albert Almora Jr. is in a big league starting lineup for the first time.
Albert Almora Jr. is starting in left field and batting sixth for Joe Maddon. Almora Jr. made his Major League debut Tuesday night. Almora Jr. hit for Kyle Hendricks leading off the sixth inning and grounded out to third base on a 1-0 pitch.
Kris Bryant is starting in third. And Javier Baez is at shortstop with Addison Russell getting the day off.
