Vote Iowa Cubs! Willson Contreras, Albert Almora Jr. and Dan Vogelbach included on Triple-A All-Star Ballot
It’s time to vote for the Triple-A All-Star Game. And this season, five of the top prospects in the Cubs’ system and a young reliever deserve to represent the organization and the Iowa Cubs in the Triple-A All-Star Game.
Online voting is underway for the Triple-A All-Star Game that takes place on July 13 in Charlotte. Voting runs through June 24. Fans can vote for one player at each position, a designated hitter, two starting pitchers and two relief pitchers. Managers, local media and fan voting determine the rosters of the Pacific Coast League and International League.
Three of the top position player prospects in the Cubs system have played at an All-Star level this season. Willson Contreras, Albert Almora Jr. and Dan Vogelbach are among the leaders in the PCL in several offensive categories.
