The Cubs released the list of attendees for the 31s Annual Cubs Convention that gets underway next week, Friday, Jan. 15 and runs through Sunday, Jan. 17 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago.
The annual convention will feature more than 75 Cubs players, coaches, staff, alumni and prospects.
Jason Heyward, Ben Zobrist and John Lackey are on the list of current players for the Convention. Anthony Rizzo, Jake Arrieta, Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber, Addison Russell, Jorge Soler, Javier Baez and Adam Warren will also be in attendance next weekend.
Joe Maddon and his entire coaching staff, Theo Epstein, Jed Hoyer and Crane Kenney are among the team executives are also part of the list of attendees.
Ryne Sandberg returning to the Convention headlines the list of former players that will be in attendance. Rick Sutcliffe, Kerry Wood, Ted Lilly and Hall of Famers Billy Williams and Ferguson Jenkins are also scheduled to be part of the event.
The 2016 Cubs Convention will include autograph opportunities, new panel sessions, enhanced activities and traditional fan favorites during the three-day weekend.
A percentage of the proceeds from Cubs Convention benefits Cubs Charities. To date, Cubs Convention has raised more than $4 million for Cubs Charities.
