Adam Wainwright will be used as a one-inning reliever, likely as the eighth inning bridge to Trevor Rosenthal. Yadier Molina has torn ligaments in his left thumb and will wear two different devices to protect the injury according to Mark Sheldon. Molina will use one for hitting and a different one when he is catching. Molina is reportedly dealing with the pain from the injury he suffered against the Cubs on Sept. 20.
