The Cubs released the 25-man roster for the NL Wild Card Game on Wednesday morning.
Joe Maddon decided to include 10 pitchers and 15 position players on the active roster. Jake Arrieta, Jon Lester and Kyle Hendricks are the three starters that will be active Wednesday night.
The Cubs bullpen will consist of Hector Rondon, Pedro Strop, Fernando Rodney, Justin Grimm, Travis Wood, Clayton Richard and Trevor Cahill.
The 15 position players that will be active Wednesday night are Anthony Rizzo, Starlin Castro, Kris Bryant, Addison Russell, Dexter Fowler, Kyle Schwarber, Chris Coghlan, Chris Denorfia, Tommy La Stella, Javier Baez, Austin Jackson, Miguel Montero, David Ross, Jorge Soler and Quintin Berry.
The Cubs decided to not include Jason Hammel, Dan Haren, Tommy Hunter, Neil Ramirez, Carl Edwards Jr., Jonathan Herrera or Matt Szczur on the Wild Card Game Roster.
