Cubs Lineup for Game 2 of NLDS

October 10, 2015 12:15 pm By Neil 10 Comments

Joe Maddon posted his lineup for Game 2 of the National League Division Series. And Maddon is using two left-handed bats in his starting nine against lefty Jaime Garcia.

Jorge Soler is back in the lineup, hitting second and playing right field. Austin Jackson is starting in left field. Miguel Montero (2-for-2 with a home run and a walk vs. Garcia) is behind the plate. Kyle Hendricks is batting eighth. Maddon is looking to get him through the Cardinals lineup at least two times.

Kyle Schwarber is not in the starting nine and will give Maddon an option late in the game.

The Cubs get their first look of the year at Jaime Garcia. The Cardinals lefty is a reverse splits pitcher, left handers have hit .250/.304/.301 against him this season while right handers have batted .218/.266/.270.

Cubs starting lineup for Game 2: Dexter Fowler CF, Jorge Soler RF, Kris Bryant 3B, Anthony Rizzo 1B, Starlin Castro 2B, Austin Jackson LF, Miguel Montero C, Kyle Hendricks P and Addison Russell SS.
