Cubs Announce Online Registration Details for Potential Postseason Single Game Ticket Sales

September 10, 2015 9:30 am By Neil 1 Comment

Cubs announce online registration details for potential postseason single game ticket sales. Beginning Thursday, Sept. 10 at 9:00am CDT fans can register to win a chance to purchase postseason tickets.

The Cubs have announced details for fans seeking the opportunity to purchase single game tickets to potential postseason games at Wrigley Field. Beginning today at 9:00am CDT until Sept. 23 at noon, fans can register for a random drawing to win a chance to purchase single game postseason tickets for a potential Wild Card Game and National League Division Series.* Registration will remain open throughout the postseason at www.cubs.com/postseason, with cut-off times for drawings to additional potential series to be announced as the postseason unfolds.

PrintFans who register for the online ticket opportunity will be notified via email if they have been selected for a chance to purchase before single game tickets go on sale. Those who are randomly selected from all eligible registrants will have a one-time chance to purchase a maximum of four tickets to a potential Wild Card Game or Division Series Game at Wrigley Field, pending availability. Tickets will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. Being selected in a drawing does not guarantee the opportunity to purchase tickets to a postseason game.

“We are excited to provide as many Cubs fans as possible with an opportunity to experience postseason baseball at Wrigley Field,” said Cubs Vice President of Sales and Partnerships Colin Faulkner in a statement. “We encourage anyone looking for a chance to purchase limited single game postseason tickets to register for the online lottery and act quickly if their name is selected.”

The number of potential postseason tickets that may become available to Cubs fans is limited as a result of ticket allocations to Cubs Season Ticket Holders and other partners. To provide a purchase opportunity to as many fans as possible, all registered fans who are not selected for early postseason contests will remain eligible for selection if the Cubs advance to subsequent rounds. Fans may only purchase tickets once during the postseason.

The postseason single game ticket on-sale date and pricing will be announced at a later time. Single game ticket buyers are encouraged to pay with MasterCard, the preferred credit card of the Chicago Cubs. Fans may visit www.cubs.com/postseason for more information about potential single game postseason ticket sales or call the Chicago Cubs Fan Services team at 773-388-8270 with any questions.

*Registration is open to legal residents of the 50 United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited; additional exclusions apply. Full terms and conditions are available at www.cubs.com/postseason.
