The Cubs announced Tuesday the game from April 25 against the Reds at Great American Ball Park that was rained out has been rescheduled.
The Cubs and Reds will play a day-night doubleheader on July 22.
Game one is scheduled to start at 11:35am CDT, game two has a first pitch slated for 5:10pm CDT.
Separate tickets are required for each game.
What was originally scheduled as a three-game series with the Reds is now a four-game set. And the team’s first road trip after the All-Star break becomes a two-city, seven-game trip that will be played in six days.
The Cubs first series after the break is in Atlanta (July 17-19). The Cubs open what is now a four-game series with the Reds on Monday, July 20. After single games on Monday and Tuesday, the series will conclude with a day-night doubleheader on Wednesday, July 22.
Thursday, July 23 is a scheduled day off. The Cubs first homestand after the All-Star break begins Friday, July 24 with three against the Phillies (July 24-26). The Cubs host the Rockies for three (July 27-29) to close out the six-game homestand.
The Cubs will make up both games that were postponed in April in July.
The game with the Cardinals from April 7 at Wrigley Field that was postponed has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 7 as part of a day-night doubleheader.
Even with the All-Star break, the Cubs will play 27 games in July.
