Cubs-Cardinals Rescheduled for Tuesday, July 7 as Part of Day-Night Doubleheader
The April 7 game between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals that was postponed due to weather is scheduled to be made up Tuesday, July 7, as the first game of a split doubleheader at Wrigley Field. The makeup game will be played at 12:20pm CDT and will be followed by the regularly scheduled game at 7:05pm CDT.
Tickets to the April 7 game at Wrigley Field will be honored for the 12:20pm July 7 game. No ticket exchange is necessary.
Separate tickets are required for each game and gates will reopen approximately 90 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

What was originally scheduled as a three-game series with the Cardinals now becomes a four-game set. The Cubs and Cardinals begin the series on Monday, July 6 with a 7:05pm CDT game and wrap up the series with a night game on Wednesday July 8 (7:05pm CDT). Both teams will be able to call-up a pitchers for the second game of the twin bill on July 7.
The Cubs will spend the last day of June in New York taking on the Mets (June 30-July 2) before opening the final homestand prior to the All-Star break on July 3.
The 10-game homestand leading up to the break now consists of three games with the Marlins (July 3-5), four in three days with the Cardinals (July 6-8) and three with the White Sox (July 10-12).
The Cubs and Reds have not announced a makeup date for the game that was rained out on April 25 at Great American Ball Park.
