The new movie based on the Chicago Cubs and the Faithful will have its Chicago premiere on Friday night at the Chicago Theatre. The CCO will be on hand and will post a review of the film that is focused on the Cubs, their relationship with the fans and the city of Chicago early next week.
The film crew followed the Cubs last season and features interviews with several players from last year’s squad as well as historic footage on the Cubs and pieces from the organizations storied past.
The premiere is at 7:00pm C.T. with an additional showing at 10:30pm for the general public. The film is scheduled for a national release later this summer as well as a release on DVD. This feature film documentary is a celebration of hope, loyalty, faith and the extraordinary love affair between a great city and its baseball team. We Believe explores the relationship between Chicago, the Cubs and their loyal fans.
