According to a report by Bruce Levine on ESPN 1000 in Chicago, the Cubs will make several roster moves in the next 24 hours in the wake on Monday’s loss to the Cardinals. The Cubs are expected to designate Koyie Hill for assignment and option Ronny Cedeno back to Triple-A Iowa. Cliff Floyd is expected to be activated from the restricted list on Tuesday and Henry Blanco is expected to be activated from the 60-day DL. Also, Carlos Zambrano has been moved up a day in the rotation. The Cubs’ ace will start on Thursday afternoon in San Francisco instead of the opener in Arizona.
