According to a report on Cubs.com, Daryle Ward was placed on the 15-day DL with a left hip strain and the Cubs have recalled Felix Pie from Triple-A Iowa to take his place on the 25-man roster.
Felix Pie should be inserted into the starting lineup on Sunday against the Braves….he definitely fits the bill of “players that can catch the damn ball.”
