Brenly Back In The Booth

The Milwaukee Brewers are set to name former A's manager Ken Macha as their new manager. This obviously means, Bob Brenly will return to the booth for the Cubs. I'm disappointed for BB as I'm sure he wanted another shot at managing. However, I certainly didnt want to see it happen within our division, and with our biggest rival. Also, he and Len Kasper have developed a nice rapport with each other, so it will be nice to have him broadcasting games for us.

In a very disappointing season for the Cubs......I am happy that the classy Scott Eyre got a World Series RIng.... It's all over.... Turn on the hot stove.....let Free Agency begin!!!!!!

Angel In The Outfield??

An interesting option may have presented itself today, as the Angels have declined the option on Garret Anderson, thus making him eligible for free agency. Primarily a left fielder, Anderson did spend three seasons as a center fielder during his career. A left handed hitter with decent power, and a good batting average, might be an option the Cubs could consider. He could take CF, or perhaps he goes to RF? An interesting option, however..........
