From the Wire … Jaron Madison Takes Over as Cubs Director of Amateur Scouting

The Cubs announced Friday afternoon that Jaron Madison was hired as the Cubs’ new director of amateur scouting. Madison replaces Tim Wilken, who was given a promotion and contract extension to stay with the organization. Tim Wilken will serve as a special assistant to Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer.
