Cubs Sign Jose Morales to Minor League Contract

According to Baseball America, the Cubs signed veteran catcher Jose Morales to a minor league contract. The 30-year old Morales spent last season in the Pirates organization. Morales hit .266/.350/.335/.695 with six doubles, one triple and one home run in 58 games with Triple-A Indianapolis.
