Cubs Announced Justin Ruggiano Out for the Season, Updates Provided on Ryan Sweeney and Edwin Jackson

The Cubs announced Friday that Justin Ruggiano had season ending arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle. Ruggiano was placed on the DL Aug. 27 retroactive to Aug. 23 and he recently saw a specialist in Dallas about discomfort in the ankle.
