The Cubs have dismissed hitting coach Rudy Jaramillo and replaced him with James Rowson. Rowson joined the Cubs in the off-season after spending six seasons in the Yankees organization. Rowson had been serving as the Cubs minor league hitting coordinator. James Rowson takes over on an interim basis as the Cubs hitting coach.
