From the Wire … Indians Claim Robert Whitenack Off Waivers from the Cubs

According to multiple reports, the Indians claimed RHP Robert Whitenack off waivers from the Cubs on Wednesday. The Cubs designated Whitenack for assignment on Monday to make room on the 40-man roster for Alberto Gonzalez.
