From the Wire … Hoffpauir Signs One-Year Deal to Play in Japan

According to a tweet from Carrie Muskat, Micah Hoffpauir signed a one-year deal to play baseball in Japan with the Nippon Ham Fighters. With Hoffpauir heading to Japan, the Cubs 40-man roster stands at 35 players.
