According to multiple reports, the Cubs claimed RHP Liam Hendriks off waivers from the Minnesota Twins on Friday. Liam Hendriks was designed for assignment on Dec. 5 to make room on Twins’ 40-man roster for RHP Phil Hughes. With the addition of Hendriks, the Cubs’ 40-man roster stands at 39 players.
