Iowa Cubs Place Josh Vitters on DL with a Broken Ring Finger

The Iowa Cubs announced Thursday that former first round draft pick (2007) Josh Vitters was placed on the disabled list with a broken ring finger. Vitters suffered the injury in the sixth inning of Wednesday’s game in Reno making what was described as an awkward slide into second base.
