Cubs Sign Brent Lillibridge and Darnell McDonald to Minor League Contracts

According to multiple reports, the Cubs signed utilityman Brent Lillibridge and outfielder Darnell McDonald to minor league contracts that include non-roster invitations to big league camp. Counting Lillibridge and McDonald, the Cubs have signed 16 players to minor league contracts this off-season that will be in big league camp on non-roster invites this spring.

According to the transactions page on Cubs.com and Baseball America, the Cubs re-signed right-handed relievers Jaye Chapman and Zach Putnam to minor league contracts. Jaye Chapman received a non-roster invite to Spring Training.
