The Cubs announced Friday afternoon that Jaron Madison was hired as the Cubs’ new director of amateur scouting. Madison replaces Tim Wilken, who was given a promotion and contract extension to stay with the organization. Tim Wilken will serve as a special assistant to Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer.
