The Daytona Cubs finalized their Opening Day roster Tuesday. Brett Jackson and Anthony Rizzo among Seventh Round of Spring Roster Cuts
The Cubs announced another round of spring roster cuts Friday morning. Anthony Rizzo and Adrian Cardenas were optioned to Triple-A Iowa. Brett Jackson, Jay Jackson, James Adduci, Michael Brenly and Bobby Scales were assigned to minor league camp. Brett Jackson is not on the Cubs’ 40-man roster so he was reassigned and not optioned out.
