Cubs-White Sox Game Postponed Due to Rain

The Cubs and White Sox game on Tuesday night at the Cell has been postponed due to heavy rain in the Chicago area. A makeup date has not been announced.

The Cubs were up 2-0 in the bottom of the third after Welington Castillo hit a two-run homer off of Chris Sale in the second inning. Edwin Jackson had allowed only one hit through 2 1/3 innings and was off to his best start of the season.

Both teams have a mutual off day on June 24, which could end up being the best possibility to make up Tuesday night’s game.

With the game being postponed, the stats and score from Tuesday will not count.

The Cubs and White Sox continue the Crosstown Series on Wednesday afternoon at Wrigley Field. Scott Feldman is scheduled to face John Danks.

And just when the Cubs have found a team that is worse than they are, the Heavens opened up and
stopped the game. Is there a message here?
