81st Annual MLB All-Star Game – National League vs. American League
Game Time – 7:00pm CDT
Coverage – TV: FOX – Radio: ESPN Radio, XM Radio Channel 175
Location – Angel Stadium, Anaheim

Ubaldo Jimenez (15-1, 2.20/1.05) vs. David Price (12-4, 2.42/1.20)

The first pitch of the 81st Mid-Summer Classic is scheduled to take place around 7:25pm CDT as the National League attempts to end the dominance of the Junior Circuit. The Senior Circuit has lost 12 in a row and has not won an All-Star game since 1996 … including the tie in Milwaukee back in 2002. The American League has won 18 of the last 21.

Charlie Manuel will try to beat former Cub, and possible future manager of the North Side Nine, Joe Girardi.

Marlon Byrd is the Cubs lone representative in the 81st MLB All-Star Game.

The rules have changed this year. Each team will use a designated hitter and each manager will designate one player that can re-enter the game … which explains why Omar Infante is on the NL squad, along with Ty Wigginton on the AL team.
