Updated – 11:20pm CDTAccording to a tweet from the Sun-Times, the Angels appear to be targeting Xavier Nady despite the Derrek Lee rumors.

During Tuesday’s Cubs 10th Inning Show (WGN) Dave Kaplan said he spoke with sources that said the Angels were not interested in trading for Derrek Lee … Kaplan changed his story less than a day later.

Kaplan cited “excellent baseball sources” for the tip.

Another report from Los Angeles Wednesday mentioned the Angels possible interest in Xavier Nady. Nady cannot be traded, without his permission, until June 15.
