CCO Radio...Talkin' Cubs Following a Series in Philly

Vote 0 Votes

After a two-week absence, the CCO Radio returns following the Cubs three-game series in Philadelphia. The offense woke up in the finale and the Cubs beat Jamie Moyer for the first time. Despite the play in the first two games against the Phillies, a 5-2 trip and three games over .500 heading home is a good start to the second half.

I actually believe this road trip proved the Cubs are not going away...It may be a scrap...all the way to the end...but it did prove we can win on the road...which is going to be key.

This next week...after tomorrow's game against the nats...the Cards face the Phillies and Dodgers while we have Cincy

    and Houston at home.

By Friday of next week...we could be in first. Assuming 2 out of 3 against Cincy

and somehow 3 out of 4 over Houston...

(I know Houston is tough right now...but we're at home...and just finished our first winning road trip.)
