According to a report from Carrie Muskat, the Cubs traded Rocky Roquet to the Oakland A's for a player to be named later on Wednesday. Roquet was in big league camp for the second spring in a row and spent a major of last season in Double-A.
The Cubs also released Ed Campusano on Wednesday according to the same report. Campusano has been slowed due to injuries and, like Roquet, was in big league camp for the second spring in a row.
