According to a report in the Tribune, Milton Bradley will miss the Cubs’ home opener on Monday and is officially listed as day-to-day.
Bradley strained his right groin going from second to third during the fourth inning of Sunday night’s game.
Weather is threatening the home opener on Monday…a 90% chance of rain throughout the day with the high in the low 40s. The Cubs are expected to make a decision on Monday morning whether the game will be played or not….Tuesday is a built-in rainout day
Milton Bradley could be back by Tuesday but with the wet field he will likely be held out another day before he makes his Wrigley Field debut in a Cubs’ uniform.
