I rhink it is going to be hard for any of these guys to make the team. Neal what do you think.
Ronald, I agree. Mike Stanton and So Taguchi have the best shot....and that is a long one at best.
Stanton might make it if he can pitch like he did with the Yankees. The guy knows how to win lets just hope he still has it. Mark Johnson could make it as the back-up catcher he played for the cards last year. Plays good D but has a bad bat. Other then that no one stands a chance.
I would add Jason DuBois to that long shot list....if he can tear up spring training and pick up where he left off in AAA last year...who knows...maybe they can pull a Keith Moreland and throw him at 3B a little....lol
As someone who watched every Iowa game last year, I'd say Jason Dubois has a great shot of taking Micah's spot.
That guy owned last season.
I kinda hope so. I was a fan of his when he first came up, but he never did break out like I had hoped. If not with us, then I'd like to see him get a few more years in the majors.
If everyone shows up for spring training though, we will have plenty of trade chips.
Stanton and DuBois have a shot, but the others probably not.
